You’ll hear all of those stories of Zento in a nutshell as the Intro Chapters for each Book of Dreigiau. I’ve meant for them to tell Zento’s story by highlighting important parts of his life and the scenes that you just mentioned I have planned to write out eventually. They’re very vivid scenes in my head… I know a lot about how things happened to poor Zento.

Sometime I want to hear more about Zento… how his life went, how he founded the school at Nefol and became the Guide, and then the first Awakening and exile and all.

I didn’t think about this chapter in all those aspects. But now that you bring it up, I guess this section does show a look into a lot of different things.

As for Tsu calling KoGuRai ambitious… it’s true that Tsu has a lot of ambition himself and that’s what got him in trouble in the beginning. But he would have never, never done what he had if he hadn’t been tempted/nudged/controlled to do it. He may have been impatient with SoYa’s development as the next High Guide of Nefol, but he never wanted (of his own mind) to forcefully betray and take his brother’s position from him.

KoGuRai, on the other hand, inspired a lot of evil things in Nefol of his own free desire, not needing to be encouraged by Zerom. Including the exile and hunting of Zento after his Awakening. Tsu doesn’t know that yet… but if he were ever to find out…

Shock and concern for the future aside, this was a GOOD chapter, showing in the most essential way Lucci’s loyalty, Tsu’s underlying good nature, and how Zerom twists people. Though I found it odd Tsu was accusing KoGuRai of being ambitious… considering how he starts the story.
